The UC Berkeley Summer Credit Program, is the most popular summer Mini-semester in the country. The program gives international students an opportunity to take undergraduate/graduate credits with native American college students and other outstanding international students. Students can spend the summer with Berkeley courses, earning credits from the prestigious university and obtaining an official Berkeley transcript. In 2023, our school has already sent students to the U.S. to participate in this program, and the response has been very positive.

The school, in the northeastern part of the San Francisco Bay Area, is located in Berkeley, California, the United States. It is across the bay from San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, lying at the foot of the mountain and beside the sea, with magnificent scenery. The Bay Area is of Mediterranean climate, with rainy seasons in spring and winter. It is characterized by cool summer and warm winter, which has a pleasant climate.

【Entry requirements】
1. Undergraduate, master’s degree and doctoral degree students are enrolled in the whole university;
2. Be in good health and have good character;
3. Language requirements (any one of the following is acceptable, and the score is valid for 3 years):

2. Schedule of classes and events:
UC Berkeley offers more than 600 summer courses in all academic areas, with flexible and innovative curricula and many majors ranked among the top in the U.S., including Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, English, Media Studies, International and Area Studies, Journalism, Legal Studies, Political Science, Linguistics, Art History, Music, Minor Language, Theatre, Dance, and Performance.
Example: If student A chooses a Six-Week Session and takes 1 business course and 1 English course, the weekly schedule for student A can be seen on the left.
Note: Berkeley’s Six-Week Session courses are 2 or 3 credits per course, and some courses are 4 credits per course.
3. Those who pass the exams will receive an official UC Berkeley transcript. Students enrolled in the ESL program may apply for a certificate of completion at the same time.
4. The Berkeley Summer Program Enrollment Center will be uniformly arranged for students to register for courses, arrange for accommodations, provide guidance on visa processing, assist in booking air tickets, and assist in arranging pick-ups and other specific tasks.
