Undergraduate students in their second, third, and fourth years, as well as graduate students from our university.

II. Introduction to Silesia University in Opava, Czech Republic

Located in Opava, Czech Republic, Silesia University is a legitimate member of the European University Association and one of the five universities established after 1989, making it one of the youngest universities in the Czech Republic. Opava, the hometown of Silesia University, is a historic city dating back to the 12th century, boasting a rich cultural heritage and a long history. Until the end of the second decade of the 20th century, Opava served as the political and administrative center of the region. Upon its establishment, the university immediately offered comprehensive education in humanities and economics. On the Silesia University campus, future academic experts are preparing for history, literature, economics and business, marketing and management, finance, banking, national economics, public administration, accounting and taxation majors or research lives. Currently, Silesia University in Opava comprises three faculties: the Faculty of Philosophy and Science in Opava, the School of Business Administration in Karvina, the Faculty of Public Policies in Opava and the Institute of Mathematics in Opava. These faculties offer dozens of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs.

III. Program Introduction

Program Date: September 2024 – February 2025 (estimated)

Program Content:

1. Students who have achieved the required standardized English test scores and aspire to enhance their professional internationalization level will, after joint selection by our university and Silesia University in Opava, study credit courses related to their majors alongside students from the host university.

2. Undergraduate and graduate students from various faculties are required to select 4 courses.

3. Upon successful completion of the courses, students will receive official credits and transcripts from Silesia University in Opava, which, upon evaluation and recognition by our university’s academic affairs office and graduate school, can be transferred as credits towards their degree programs at our university.
